I built and sold two businesses. The first was a childcare technology company. The second, Bound, grew to a 65-person B2B services firm serving corporates and government, and was acquired by private equity in 2024.

Selling a business you built is unlike anything else: the pride, the worry about the team, the fear of the wrong buyer. That experience is why Searchlight exists.

My early career included strategy consulting, transformation roles at CBA and News Corp, and five years as a Director of CBHS Health Fund. I was a seed investor in Advanced Navigation and in 2025 invested in Sue’s Home Care, a Sydney in-home aged care provider, where I sit on the Board.
